DESCRIPTION:Chicago For Abortion Rights March 21st Springfield Protest vs Anti-Abortionists \nThis year\, the “March for Life” has abandoned Chicago\, in favor of marching in Springfield. But Chicago isn’t ceding any part of Illinois! Join Chicago For Abortion Rights (CFAR) as we mount a counter protest to the “March for Life” rally in Springfield\, IL\, Tuesday\, March 21st. \nWe plan to once again outnumber\, and overwhelm\, the anti-abortion bigots\, no matter where they assemble. We are planning to take an Amtrak train as a group\, scheduled to depart from Union Station at 7:15 AM and arrive in Springfield at 10:20 AM. \nThe return train will head back to Chicago at 4:15 PM\, arriving at Union Station at 8:25 PM barring delays. Right now\, we are anticipating tickets to cost ~$20 each way (around $40 per person). We ask that folks donate what you can to help offset costs of travel and sack lunch supplies\, but we do not want income to be a barrier to anyone’s participation in this event! \nSee you in Springfield\, however you get there !

Girodanengo\, author of Ecosystems as Models for Restoring Our Economies.   \nGiordanengo began building his career in ecological restoration throughout the Western US in 1996\, but his dedication to conservation goes back further. While studying business in the eighties\, John became intrigued by a universal challenge: preserving earth’s ecosystems while meeting humanity’s economic needs. Inspired by the growing protests against globalization\, and then the 2007 Great Recession\, he began the research and writing of Ecosystems as Models for Restoring our Economies. This work integrates 30 years of experience in ecology\, business\, and economics\, which indicates that the core drivers of the health and resilience of ecosystems also govern our economies. After sharing his experience in ecological restoration with hundreds of audiences across the Americas\, John now turns to a deeper passion—shedding light on our shared knowledge of economic restoration.
