We’ll be celebrating trailblazing women past and present, including keynote speaker Jill Wine-Banks. You may have seen Jill on TV as an MSNBC legal analyst or listened to her as a co-host of the #SistersInLaw and iGenPolitics podcasts. She is also the author of The Watergate Girl (being developed as a movie), about her days as one of the prosecutors during the Watergate scandal.

We are also excited to have the Honorable Nancy Rotering, Mayor of Highland Park IL, as a featured speaker. She is the first woman to be elected as Highland Park’s mayor.

McCDW knows how to put fun into fundraising! There will be small plates, photo ops with trailblazers, like-minded friends, and winning auction baskets. Enjoy the cash bar featuring our signature drink, the Myra Bradwell – the first woman to pass the Illinois bar exam. Read Between the Lynes will have copies of Jill’s book available for purchase for $20 at the event.

Yes, it’s a fundraiser, but it’s more than that. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger than yourself and make a difference in McHenry County.
